RIVERS, LAKES, & FALLS

Snoqualmie River - 0 Miles Away:

The rushing water is your backyard at the Luxurious Riverfront Log Home Estate. The Snoqualmie River is a 45-mile long river in King County and Snohomish County in the state of Washington. The Snoqualmie River's three main tributaries are the North, Middle, and South Forks, which drain the west side of the Cascade Mountains near the town of North Bend and join near the town of Snoqualmie just above the Snoqualmie Falls. 

 

Rattlesnake Lake - 2 Miles Away:

Rattlesnake Lake is located in  the Rattlesnake Mountain Scenic Area. The lake itself has many stumps, which are used by birds as nesting sites. There is also a rare form of geese that are hybrids of Canada Geese and something unknown and rather foreign to that specific area. There is also a legend of a bugler occasionally playing taps at sunset in the woods near Rattlesnake Lake. For more than 30 years when the mysterious bugler plays, most stop to listen. The lake has recently become a popular place for locals to slackline and perform other outdoor activities on the lake's spacious, grassy shores.

 

 

Snoqualmie Falls - 7 Miles Away:

Snoqualmie Falls is a 268 ft waterfall on the Snoqualmie River between Snoqualmie and Fall City, Washington. It is one of Washington's most popular scenic attractions, but is perhaps best known internationally for its appearance in the cult television series Twin Peaks. More than 1.5 million visitors come to Snoqualmie Falls every year, where there is a two acre park, an observation deck, and a gift shop. The historic Salish Lodge & Spa overlooks Snoqualmie Falls.

Rattlesnake Ridge - 2 Miles Away:

Rattlesnake Ridge is a mountain ridge located south of North Bend and is the highest and easternmost of the Issaquah Alps. A complicated maze of abandoned logging roads and constructed trails have been strung together to provide a 10.5-mile foot path from the Snoqualmie Point Trailhead at Exit 27 on interstate I-90 all the way to the Rattlesnake Lake trailhead near Exit 32.

Mount Si - 4 Miles Away:

Enjoy panoramic views of this majestic wonder from the living area, bedrooms, and deck of the Luxurious Riverfront Log Home. Mount Si lies on the western margin of the Cascade Range and was made famous in the show Twin Peaks, which was filmed in North Bend. Mount Si is a favorite outdoor destination for residents of Puget Sound. Between 80,000 and 100,000 hikers visit Mount Si annually. The 4-mile long Mount Si trail climbs a total of 3,500 feet to reach the summit ridge. The summit of Mount Si can then be reached by an exposed scramble, class 3, up the summit block which is known as the "Haystack".

Snoqualmie Pass - 19 Miles Away:

Snoqualmie Pass, is a mountain pass that carries Interstate 90 through the Cascade Range in the State of Washington. The elevation of the pass summit is 3,022 feet. Snoqualmie Pass is the largest of the three east-west mountain routes across Washington State that are kept open year-round and carries an average of 27,087 vehicles through the pass per day. 

 

Mount Rainier - So Large It Depends on the Access Point... Miles Away:

Yes, this is a real picture. Mount Rainier is the highest mountain in both the State of Washington and is the most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous United States and the Cascade Volcanic Arc, with a summit elevation of 14,411 feet. Two volcanic craters top the summit.

Bybee Blueberry Farm - 5 Miles Away:

This u-pick farm is a great place to spend some time with the family and get back to nature. Try to spot some elusive mountain goats while you pick the biggest, freshest blueberries (six varieties), raspberries and vegetables in your own peaceful little corner of the field.

Baxter Barn - 13 Miles Away:

Baxter Barn sits on 2½ acres with trees, gardens, pastures, a seasonal creek, and lawns. It is a working farm with horses, mini-donkeys, chickens, pheasant, and quail. The farm is quiet and peaceful, nestled at the end a rural road. Baxter Barn offers tours including one-on-one time hands-on experience with animals.

Goldmyer Hot Springs -  25 Miles Away:

Goldmyer Hot Springs is found nestled in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. Visitors gain access to a crystal clear natural geothermal hot spring via rugged wilderness terrain and a hiking trail through old growth forest with beautiful waterfall views. Amenities provided to visitors are limited but include an open-air cabana at the hot spring pools. Winter access is typically limited and an SUV or truck is recommended when visiting.

HISTORIC

Northwest Railway Museum - 6 Miles Away:

The Museum consists of several locations, the 1890 Snoqualmie Depot, the Centennial Trail Exhibit, and Railway History Center including an old train boneyard. The depot has been restored to its turn of the century grandeur and is presented as an operating train station and includes a gift shop. The train runs Saturdays and Sundays, April through the end of October.
